"Storm and Fury" (The Harbinger Series #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout [Review]

I started reading this very shortly after finishing the prior series - The Dark Elements series. I was wondering what the next heroine would be like, and if some of the characters (like Layla, Roth, and Cayman) would be making appearances in this series. And I'm so happy I read this series.

Trinity has an eye disease and is going blind. She's lived most of her life in a community with Wardens who are protecting her because of her half heritage she got from her father (no spoilers here). She has a Warden protector, Misha, bonded with her since they were children. When new Wardens from D.C., Zayne being one of them, come to ask for help with some 'thing' taking out Wardens AND demons, Trinity is intrigued. There's something about Zayne that she just can't stay away from. When Misha is kidnapped, she goes with Zayne to D.C. to help him and have him help her find her friend.

First off, I just want to say that I was SO NOT expecting the ending to be what it was. It shocked me and made me say "what?" out loud (again, no spoilers). I really enjoyed this book...everything about it...and think I might re-read it again later.
