Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout [Review]

After reading White Hot Kiss, I just had to jump onto the sequel right away.

This book picks up just shortly after the events of the last book. Layla is missing Roth, but she is caught off guard when he returns and pushes her away, right into the arms of Zayne. She's even more confused when Roth seems to still want to be near her. And what evil has been unleashed that is causing a lot of Layla's classmates to be losing their souls?

The side character I seem to enjoy in this one had no lines, but I found Bambi the snake very interesting. I found myself baffled along with Layla as to Roth's hidden motives, but without spoiling anything, I would never would have guessed the ending to be what it was. It's a little bit of a cliffhanger, and makes me wonder what's to come in the next and sadly last book in the series. It was in this book that I knew I was going to be reading the spin-off series after.

If you read the prior book in the series, or even the small prequel, you've got to read this great supernatural romance series.
