"So, This is Christmas" by Tracy Andreen [Review]

This seemed like a Hallmark teen romance, so I decided to read it.

After not doing so well in her Connecticut boarding school, Finely returns to her small town of Christmas, Oklahoma to find her best friend and ex-boyfriend dating, and her rival working at her grandmother's inn. Also, her mom has left for some alone time, and her parents might divorce. On top of it all, her British classmate, Arthur, and his Christmas-obsessed aunt have been lured to her town by false pretenses she posted on a website. To save face, she must give Arthur the Christmas he saw on the website. All this, while debating if she wants to return to her school or not.

At first, I was not sure if I would like this book. It begins weeks early with the main characters rescuing a bee. Yep, a flying, buzzing bee. But after it got to Christmas, it started to pick up. The felt natural for the characters to slowly start a friendship that might blossom into something more.

Some parts were surprising, while other parts were predictable. Some romances were surprises, while some made you wonder what they were thinking about getting together.

All in all, it was a good, light, Christmas romance, perfect for teens of Christmas romances.
