"Opal" (Lux) by Jennifer L. Armentrout [Review]

This is the third book in this obsessive series about a human girl who falls in love with the hot, arrogant alien next door.

Like before, this takes off where "Onyx" left off. Dawson, Daemon and Dee's once thought dead triplet brother, has returned to them, and he's desperate to get his girl Bethany back from the same government organization that held him captive for two years. In order to help his brother, Daemon and Katy must accept their enemy Blake's help when he returns to town after the disastrous events towards the end of the last book.

This was a suspenseful, welcoming edition to the gripping sci-fi romance series. Except for the number of cuss words, I pretty much enjoyed everything about it. (I must have since it took me only six days to read the book). Seeing how similar and different Dawson was from his brother Daemon; along with the surprising introduction of Luc, a new, powerful, surprisingly enjoyable character, who has his spin-off series after the end of this series. I have to say the gripping climax at the end had surprising and unexpected consequences for the characters. (I will not put in spoilers).

Fans of this enticing series, sci-fi romances, this is another great one to add to your collection. A must-read.
