"If the Broom Fits" by Sarah Sutton [Review]

I have read plenty of Christmas romance stories, but I've got to say, this is my first Halloween romance coming, and with Halloween coming up, I thought I'd give it a go.

Blaire hates Halloween, which is hard living in a town named after it (Hallow), and had recently dumped her boyfriend, Lucas. But she still finds herself pining for him and unable to reveal why she hates Halloween, along with why she really dumped him. Could it have something to do with the father that walked out on her life 2 years ago, just after her mom's death? And will a mysterious letter from him help her in any way?

Three chapters in, I was immediately drawn into the story. I felt like I couldn't put it down and I really felt for Blaire. I'm not a big fan of the holiday myself, but I don't hate it. And her struggles felt true and real. The author did wonderful work, making all the characters come alive. I even enjoyed Lucas's little sister.

This is a great Halloween romance, one to definitely pick up and read if you're a fan of realistic romances, holiday romances, or just romances in general. This is not one you want to miss.
