Every Last Breath (The Dark Elements #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout [Review]

Just like last time, I just had to continue reading the series. After the revelation of the villain in the last book, I just couldn't stop myself from continuing to read this series.

With the identity of the Lilin revealed to be someone close to Layla, she, Zayne, and Roth must seek help from unexpected forces, and Layla learns some truths about her mother that might have to pit mother against daughter, and good versus evil. Can the trio stop the Lilin's path of destruction? And will Layla make the ultimate sacrifice to do so?

End of the last book, I thought "ooh, this is just getting good". Part of me never wanted the book to end, but part of me wanted it to so I could get on to the spinoff series, "Storm and Fury" being the first book in that said series.

I enjoyed seeing Layla's visit to hell, and also enjoyed meeting the new character of Robin, Layla's fox familiar. I really loved the scene where Layla interacts with both Bambi and Robin in hell. Won't spoil why, but if you're a fan of the series, you've got to read that scene.

This was a wonderful ending to a great series, and I'm so excited to be tackling the spin-off series next.
