Well, as I said before, this series is addictive. So of course I had to read this before continuing on.
This book takes place right after the events of Deity (the third book). But instead of it being from Alex's point of view, this book shows us Aiden's point of view. After Alex "Awakens", Aiden tries everything he can to get her to break the connection she has with Seth, even doing something he knows she'll hate.
I loved seeing Aiden's point of view. And I love it more when the author writes little side stories from the male lead's point-of-view. It makes the story more special and engaging that way.
There's only one problem I had with this book: It was too short. I would have loved to see more of the series from Aiden's point-of-view, not just Alex's.
