"Whispers on the River" (Whisper Falls) by Elizabeth Langston [Review]

I am a fan of the Whisper Fall series, so when I read the plot for this novella, I knew I had get it. And at $3, I thought it'd be a cute little read.

Although the initial appeal of the series (time travel) is taken away from this novella, it is still quite an interesting read with Abigail (a side character from the series; Susanna's sister Phoebe's employer) being the main character of this story, which takes place 25 years before the start of Whisper Falls and how she came to be.

The writing was good, making some of the characters hateful to the audience and some likeable ones. It was realistic, and I enjoyed it so much that I don't feel like I could have put it down. It was the right amount of pages, not to short or too long.
