"One Paris Summer" by Denise Grover Swank [Review]

On May 27, 2016, I received this book. I read it and finished it early November last year. Here's my review on it:

Paris: somewhere I have never been but secretly always dreamed of visiting; and this book was so wonderful that it made me want to go to Paris even more.

However, Sophie (main character) does NOT want to visit Paris. Her father, who suddenly left a year ago, is about to be remarried and wants his children (Sophie and her brother Eric) to meet his soon-to-be wife and new stepdaughter, Camille. Her soon-to-be-stepsister doesn’t like Sophie and wants to make her miserable. She could deal with it if she could practice for her dream of being a pianist. She meets French teen boy who starts to make her warm to the city, but he’s a friend of Camille’s.

I loved seeing Paris through her eyes and enjoyed her budding romance with Mathieu. I get why Sophie was cautious of having any kind of relationship with him because of his friendship with Camille. I did enjoy Sophie and Mathieu’s little outings, which were my favorite scenes/parts in the book.

I think fans of teen travel or teen romance books would really enjoy this. 100% love this book.
