The first thing that drew me to the book was the romance aspect of it (girl goes after her boyfriend) and the setting (in the Alaskan wilderness). But I was surprised by the adventure of it. I never felt like I wasn't there with Gabi, traveling along with her. Great adventure romance teen story.
