I enjoyed the plot of the story (like mermaid stories), but I didn't enjoy the fact that Lana had been kicked out of school and didn't enjoy her unrealistic, chaotic home life. Also, I think the s word was used a bit too much. If I were to rate this, it would be 2 1/2 out of 5 stars
