"10 Truths and a Dare" (Messina Family) by Ashley Elston [Review]

I got an advanced copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for a review. Thanks, NetGalley!

Olivia is a class salutatorian and an accomplished AP student, her future career planned out. So when she learns, just the week before graduation, that she failed her off-campus PE class and is at risk of not graduating, she panics. With the help of the Fab Four (her cousins/friends Sophie, Wes, and Charlie), she works at a local golf tournament with her Coach/teacher, trading phones with the Fab Four as they help her put appearances at a lot of parties (so her Mom doesn't find out). She also might be falling for a family friend/golfer in the tournament, Leo.

I will start off by saying I was a fan of the prior book, so that's one of the reasons I picked up this one. The other was that the summary was interesting. This, I feel, readers can read without having read the prior book, but it WILL make you want to read the prior book, as there's a dash of references to it in this one.

Man, I wish my week before graduating high school was like this...party after party. The author did a good job at switching points of view and having us understand Olivia's struggle with trying to complete her last credit for graduation.

There wasn't really anything about the book I didn't like. But it did leave me wondering...will the Evil Joes and the Fab Four EVER get along? Will there be another "Messina Family" book in the mix?

This is a budding romance, family centered, addictive series, one I will definitely be getting the next book of (if there is a third).
